Our story
About Seuras
Renting should not feel like a second job
Renting a home — and listing one — is still far harder than it should be. Both sides spend hours, days, even weeks trying to get there. The process is exhausting, and some of it is just irritating: constant phone calls, the same questions asked and answered over and over, no clear sense of when a viewing is possible, how best to reach the owner, what they actually require, whether children or pets are welcome, or how long the minimum stay is.
That is why we started Seuras
We built Seuras so both tenants and owners can spend less time chasing, repeating themselves, and guessing — and more time deciding with a full picture.
How we help
- 1
A complete renter profile
The more you share about yourself up front, the faster an owner can see whether you are a fit — without a pile of follow-up questions.
- 2
In-app chat and bookable viewings
Instead of endless calls, you message in Seuras and book a viewing at a time the owner has already made available.
- 3
A video call in chat before the visit
Meet on a short video call right in Seuras chat first, so both sides know who they are dealing with before anyone travels.
- 4
A dashboard with the next step
Every stage is spelled out: what to do now, and how far you are from signing.
- 5
A contract online
When you have found the right home or the right person, you can sign in Seuras. The only remaining errand is the notary.
Why we are called Seuras
The name comes from Seurasaari, an island in Helsinki. In Finnish it means “society island” — a place where people come together. That is the community we want to build: somewhere property questions get resolved faster, and everything stays transparent.

What we optimize for
Trust and clarity
Fewer low-quality leads. More conversations that can become real viewings and leases.
Time back for both sides
Profiles, chat, and bookable hours so nobody repeats the same call ten times.
A community, not a classifieds dump
Transparent rules, next steps, and a path that ends in a signed contract — not another unanswered message.
