Who we are

Seuras operates a trust-first rental marketplace currently in beta in Warsaw, Poland. For privacy questions, contact us at info@seuras.com. We are the controller of personal data processed through the Seuras website and app.

What we collect

Account data: name, email, phone number, password hashes, language preference, and role (renter, owner, or both).

Profile and listing data: household details you choose to share, property addresses, photos, pricing, availability, and messages you send in-app.

Usage data: pages you visit on Seuras, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address for security and market routing.

Cookies: strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, language, and market; optional analytics cookies only if you accept them.

Why we use your data

To create and secure your account, show the site in your language, and keep you signed in (performance of a contract / legitimate interest).

To match renters and owners, schedule viewings, and generate draft lease documents you request (performance of a contract).

To send service messages (viewing updates, security codes). Marketing email is sent only if you opt in.

To keep the platform safe (fraud prevention, abuse detection) and to improve the product when you allow analytics cookies (legitimate interest / consent).

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies store your language, market, session, and cookie choice. The site cannot work without them.

Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand which public pages are useful. You can accept all cookies, keep essential cookies only, or change your choice later via Cookie settings in the footer.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it with infrastructure providers that host Seuras (for example cloud, email, or SMS) under contracts that require them to protect it.

Other users see only what you publish: listing details, the parts of your renter or owner profile you share, and messages you send them.

We may disclose data if required by Polish or EU law.

Retention

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards where we must keep records (for example security logs or completed deals). You can ask us to delete your account by contacting info@seuras.com.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw cookie consent at any time.

You can complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland. We would rather fix the issue first — write to info@seuras.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Warsaw beta grows. The date at the top of this page is the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
